GRP planks
GRP planks for bridge construction – durable, lightweight, and certified
Modern infrastructure projects place high demands on material quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. CTS's pultruded GRP planks meet all these requirements – as durable, lightweight, and DIBt-certified bridge planks, they offer a future-proof alternative to wood or steel.
Flexibility and efficiency in installation and design
- Cut to size according to customer requirements
- Easy to work with using standard tools directly on the construction site
- Low weight saves installation time and reduces transport costs
- Design freedom thanks to various color options (e.g., anthracite, sand)
GRP planks: The innovative alternative in bridge construction
When wooden planks reach their limits due to weathering, corrosion, or high maintenance costs, GRP bridge planks manufactured using the pultrusion process offer a compelling solution..
Advantages of our GRP planks:
- Corrosion-free & slip-resistant (R13 surface)
- Lightweight & highly resilient – ideal for installation and use
- Low-maintenance & durable – minimal maintenance costs
- For pedestrian bridges, cycle path bridges, footbridges, and maintenance paths
GRP plank HC 280 – Germany's first DIBt-certified bridge plank
The HC280 is the first GRP plank in Germany to be approved by the building authorities (DIBt Z-10.9-499).
It was specially developed for the renovation of wooden footpath and cycle path bridges.
Thanks to its sophisticated tongue-and-groove principle, it creates a closed, slip-resistant walking surface that also acts as a protective roof for the moisture-sensitive wooden structure. Rainwater is reliably drained away, the substructure remains dry, and the service life of the wooden structure is significantly extended.
Further advantages:
- Low weight for easy transport and installation
- High dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity even with intensive use
- Invisible fastening for a visually clean surface
Colors: Sand and anthracite
